MISSION

To improve the quality of life for veterans through live music.

IMPACT

Music is an integral part of everyone’s life.  As we age, music is important as it triggers rich, preserved memories that help improve the quality of life.  Music provides a meaningful way to engage with others, and can prevent behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.  Live music performed by professional musicians has the ability to heal wounds that the eyes cannot see.

Music imprints itself on the brain deeper than any other human experience.

Music brings back the feeling of life when nothing else can. - Dr. Oliver Sacks, Professor of Neurology

“MORE THAN PICTURES”

Music is Magical.

Often while performing for residents with cognitive disabilities like dementia and Alzheimers, our audience hears the music and immediately sing along to their favorite tunes.

We aim to show our gratitude to those who served our country, by enhancing their quality of life
through music.

“Music can evoke emotions with the individuals and in turn assist in memory recall. Many patients can remember and sing songs long after losing the ability
to remember other things.”
